Resident Honored to Express Support for Amy Martin and Arati Kreibich

I, like so many others in this wonderful town, moved here for the great schools and the close-knit community. You can read as much as you want about Glen Rock, but you really don’t realize how wonderful this town is until you put down some roots.

I am more than honored to express my support for Amy Martin and Arati Kreibich. When it comes to politics, I am more of a skeptic, but knowing Amy and Arati and all the wonderful things they have done for the community, the decision to support them was just so easy.

Amy’s work in establishing Glen Rock's own Farmer’s Market not only brings our community even closer together but also is a great way to advertise this wonderful town to our neighbors. Amy’s support for the traffic study around Byrd Elementary highlighted a problem and showed she is listening, regardless what side of the tracks you live on.

Arati’s position on green initiatives is something that really resonates with me, especially as we are inundated with news about the EPA being crippled by the current administration. It's empowering to know that we can still make changes at the local level, and Arati has been at the forefront of such efforts. She also understands that certain Earth-friendly efforts, such as increasing recycling, aren't just good for the planet but also for our pocketbooks because they generate more money for our town.

I see these women doing great things for Glen Rock.  On November 7, I will be Rocking the Vote with the A-Team!
