TAPintoTravels - If you have traveled a lot, you have had a canceled flight.  Do you know how to handle your luggage in such cases?

Well, on a recent canceled flight on Norwegian Air from Berlin to New York, we had to do it.  Our experience is now your gain.

For starters, think about your needs.  We have a connection that is not yet booked.  All we know is we are ending up in Oslo to receive our transfer then it's on to New York. There is also nor'easter Toby causing havoc in New York. There is a good chance that we will spending the night. Here is some good advice to check out canceled flights.

So, here are the priorities:

  1. Medicines
  2. Change of clothes and weather appropriate clothes for the new setting
  3. Toiletries
  4. Electronics:  computer, cell, cameras, et.
  5. Work-out clothes
  6. Spa attire - It’s Europe and we may have time.  If don’t have a bathing suit, parts of Europe don’t care.  See our article here for one such experience.
