Update: Woman Who Landed on Prospect Street Property, Asleep at Wheel, Identified

GLEN ROCK, NJ - The 47-year-old Rockaway woman who allegedly drove up onto the lawn of a home on Prospect Street, according to police, where she was found asleep and in possession of drug paraphernalia, has been identified as Kelley J. Hoskins. 

On March 16 at 5:47 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call from a passing motorist using a cell phone at Prospect Street by Locust Avenue where they discovered the woman in the driver's seat, asleep.

An police investigation determined her vehicle was traveling south on Prospect Street, left the roadway and drove up onto the lawn of a residence, drove across the entire front yard and uprooted shrubbery before coming to rest on the lawn.

The woman asleep in the car was the registered owner and driver. Glen Rock police arrested her for DWI and possession of drug paraphernalia, including two crack pipes and empty baggies containing suspected crack cocaine residue.

The woman, who was not injured, was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released to the custody of a sober adult in accordance with John’s Law.  Also, she was issued additional summonses for refusal to submit to breath tests and careless driving.
