Veterans Nonprofit to Host Art Show and Auction at Stony Hill Inn

“We cover the seven northern counties of New Jersey assisting veterans in putting their lives back together”, said Sandy Mitchell, Executive Director of Project Help.

A silent and live auction are part of the experience. The auctioneer is a Vietnam Veteran from New Jersey and is donating his service to the event.

Many wonderful works of art have been submitted, many by combat veterans.  There is a level of therapy in art that helps veterans with issues like PTSD.  Many are professionals and support themselves and their families with their art.

Just a few of the local artists whose works are part of this fundraiser are Harmon Kaplan, Kyle Mitchell, Joe Hicks and Christian Betancourt. Chris is a young Army combat vet.

When you look deeply into the art done in black and white, there is so much more there and you can actually connect to what the artist had in mind. It is dramatic and soothing and speaks of America.

The artists are sharing in the auction proceeds and there is no cost to submit art. The Prospectus is available by contacting Project Help.

There will be five vacations up for auction, gift certificates for dinners out and cooking classes, sporting event tickets, golf outings and much more.

For more fun, another Veteran Owned business will be onsite to add to the fun. He will bring to the party his new Reflections Photo booth…which is not like any photo booth you’ve seen before.

There are so many surprises to keep you entertained and engaged…remembering why you are there and how much our Veterans need us.

Tickets are on sale at Https:// and 50% of the ticket price is tax deductible.   Sponsors are still welcome and if interested, or call Project Help at 973-875-2068.
