ELMWOOD PARK, NJ - Warrior Goddess Fitness has re-opened its doors, offering a variety of classes both online and in-person.
The studio, located at 244 Market Street in Elmwood Park, built on “it takes a village” credo, is led by co-owner Hollye Richardson MS, 200 Registered Yoga Teacher.
The name is a big clue to what drives Hollye to make the business a success. “Throughout my experience, I’ve been supported by a community of strong women,” she said. “I have personally experienced so much love and support from people who I least expected [it from].”
Hollye, mother of a teenage daughter and breast cancer survivor, said she wants her daughter to mature into a confident, independent woman, one “who understands that women do not have to fight each other to be successful. That it’s okay to show your support for one another.”
With that being said, Hollye is secure with Warrior Goddess Fitness studio's mission: to support and empower women and our daughters through community, fitness and the wellness activities we provide.
Hollye has jumped back into fitness with her clients by offering specials that have already begun, including a four-part, live-streamed yoga workshop with the “amazing” Healer and 500 RYT Courtney Bauer, founder of Studio Anya, New York City. While the first workshop has passed, there are three more at a discounted price. These workshops generally cost $75 - $100 each, but Holleye is working with Anya to offer each workshop at $25 each to make them more accessible.
Part 1 was “A Healing Yoga Experience with Courtney Bauer”; Part 2, Journey the Chakras; Part 3, Sept. 27, Strengthening the Core; and Part 4, Oct. 25, Taking Flight with Arm Balances. Check www.yogafitelmwoodpark.com for an up-to-date schedule.
