During the period between June 10 and June 16, 2019 members of the GRPD handled 268 calls for service, the highlights of which included:

6-10-2019 - 2:08 PM – Det. Doney responded to Glen Rock High School on a report of a swastika that was reported to school officials. The swastika was found in a bathroom stall. It appeared to have been there for a while and not recently etched. There was other graffiti around the swastika but none of the other drawings or etchings appeared to be bias in nature. It was believed that the swastika was noticed at this time and reported because of a presentation that was done earlier in the day for all middle school and high school students on the symbolism of the swastika.

6-15-2019 - 5:33 PM – P.O. Orsita and P.O. Tarantino responded to Bottle King, located at 909 Prospect Street, on a report of a customer who attempted to purchase alcohol underage with a fraudulent identification. The store manager reported that a male attempted to purchase the alcohol and provided the cashier with a Connecticut Drivers License that did not appear to be legitimate. As the employee was attempting to verify the actors age, the actor fled the store. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the actor was a juvenile male who resides in Glen Rock. The guardian of the juvenile was notified of the incident, and the detective bureau is following up with potential juvenile charges.
