During the period between October 7 and October 13, 2019 members of the GRPD handled 231 calls for service, the highlights of which included:
10-09-2019 - 3:19 PM – Officers came upon a highly intoxicated woman creating a disturbance near the roadway in front of Bottle King on Prospect street. The subject, a 42-year-old Ho Ho Kus woman, was subsequently transported by ambulance to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detox.
10-09-2019 - 8:03 PM – A resident on the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue reported that she discovered an alert on her Ring door bell system from 2:45 PM. The images captured showed that a female subject removed a moderate size package which had been left at her front door. The resident had not been expecting a delivery and is unsure what the package contained.
The woman who took the package is described as a white female, approximately 5’6” tall, who was wearing a blue/grey striped long sleeve shirt and jeans. She was operating a silver/grey cross over vehicle, possibly an Acura.
The footage from the Ring doorbell has been turned over to the Detective Bureau for review.
10-10-2019 - 11:37 AM – A Glen Rock woman reported discovering numerous fraudulent charges on her TD Bank debit card. A total of 18 transactions occurred between August 26 and September 20 resulting in $6,772.82 of fraudulent charges. TD bank was contacted and has since issued a new debit card and begun the reimbursement process. Charges with Anchor Express are still outstanding and under review by the bank. The Detective Bureau is reviewing the matter.
10-10-2019 - 8:59 PM – While investigating a motor vehicle accident at Lincoln Avenue and Harristown Road, P.O. Will Holguin arrested a 33-year-old Ramsey man for driving while intoxicated. The driver was transported to Police HQ where he was processed and released in the care of a sober adult in accordance with John’s Law pending an appearance in Glen Rock Municipal Court. He was also issued a summons for careless driving.
10-11-2019 - 3:53 PM – A 44-year-old Greenwood Lake, NY man was taken into custody by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department on a criminal warrant issued by the Glen Rock Municipal Court. The man was transported to the Bergen County Jail by D/Sgt. Jim Calaski and Det. Lucas Doney pending a court appearance.
