During the period between September 14 to September 20, 2020 members of the GRPD handled 335 calls for service, the highlights of which included:

09-14-2020 - 9:19 AM – Patrols were dispatched to the Glen Rock Public Library concerning an individual who refused to comply with the patrons’ code of conduct and was making other patrons uncomfortable due to his actions.  The subject, a 48-year-old Hackensack man, was escorted from the premises at the request of the Library Director.  

09-19-2020 - 8:03 AM – Officers were dispatched to a storage facility on Broad Street to check on the welfare of an apparent homeless woman found inside the common access area by a patron. Officers located a 57-year-old Ridgewood woman who was found to be in an intoxicated state. The woman, who was found to be the legitimate renter of a storage space, stated she was waiting inside to pay her monthly rent.  She subsequently requested assistance from the officers to be transported to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detox.  EMS was dispatched to the scene to aid the woman and transport her to the hospital.
