GLEN ROCK, NJ - Glen Rock Community School is organizing a Mental Health First Aid Training for teachers, staff and parents. A limited number of spots are available for this highly sought after training. Adults will have the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion from the National Council for Behavioral Health.
This one day training will take place on Thursday, December 5 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Glen Rock High School.
Attendees will be trained on mental health and substance abuse issues. Led by a trained instructor, the topics discussed are useful for teachers, staff, parents and caregivers. There will be a discussion of risk factors, warning signs, and strategies for both crisis and non-crisis situations.
