Something Shakespeare To Glen Rock Comes

GLEN ROCK, NJ - On Tuesday, July 31, at 7 p.m., The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey – Next Stage Ensemble will bring an exciting collage of moments and music from Shakespeare and the many authors he has inspired with a special production at the Glen Rock Public Library.  The performance is a benefit for the Friends of the Glen Rock Library and a reception follows.

Underwriting has been provided by the Glen Rock Savings Bank, a long-time supporter of the visual and performing arts in town, through the live productions at the Library.

Tickets may be obtained in person at the Library, located at 315 Rock Road during regular business hours. This performance is recommended for children 12 and over. Student admission is $4, open seating admission is $5 for Friends Members, and $8 for general admission tickets. Patron admission is $12 per person and includes a reserved seat and listing in the evening’s program. Seating is limited. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is one of the leading classics performance groups in the nation.  The Next Stage Ensemble was created to foster the work of early-career actors and brings theatre to communities across New Jersey.    

The Friends of the Library provides substantial funding for a majority of the Library’s programming for adults, teens and children. The group also enhances the circulating collections throughout the year. The Museum Pass Program, now in its second year, gives patrons an opportunity to visit renowned metropolitan area institutions free-of-charge, through underwriting provided by the Friends.  The Glen Rock Public Library stands as an informational, educational and cultural center, benefiting people of all ages in the community.
