Fair Lawn Rally for Police, First Responders

An independent rally in support of police and first responders has been scheduled for August 3. Marchers will assemble at 6:30 p.m. at Radburn Train Station and march to Fair Lawn Borough Hall on the sidewalks of Fair Lawn Avenue.

Postal Carrier Receives Unwelcome Package from Isaias

PARAMUS, NJ - A postal carrier in Paramus received an unwelcome package from Tropical Storm Isaias - - a large tree that did serious damage to the postal carrier's mail truck. 

The incident happened while the postal carrier stopped at a Dunkin' Donuts on Route 4 westbound in Paramus.  The postal carrier was not in the truck when the tree fell and no one was injured.
