NJAWBO Northeast Region Networking Lunch Features Fair Lawn Life Coach

The Northeast Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is hosting a business networking lunch at Bahama Breeze (across from the Willowbrook Mall and Wayne Town Shopping Center parking areas). The topic for this event is “The Working Women’s Way to Healthy Eating,” presented by Nicolle Ahlea, of Push To Change, of Fair Lawn. She will provide tips, tricks, and ideas on how to get the most out of your meals, whether at home or on the go.

Nicolle Ahles is a health and life coach and a certified personal trainer. She tried for so many years to lose weight and become healthy, and was told to accept being overweight and embrace how she looked and be comfortable with her body. She tried that, but she wasn’t one to give up on herself. After many years of trial and error, she found the perfect balance of foods for her body type and an exercise program that she truly enjoys. Nicolle came to the realization that if she can do this, anyone can. That’s when she decided she wanted to help others with this transformation and teach them step by step how to achieve their weight loss and health goals.

Women business owners in NJ, as well as men and women who do business with them, are encouraged to attend. There will be plenty of time for introductions, exchange of business cards, and networking. Advance registration is recommended. For those who register online by 6/24/19, the event fee is $30 for NJAWBO members and $40 for nonmembers. Walk-ins are welcome, but the event fee is $45 for all at the door. To register, go to www.njawbo.org.

The Northeast Region is generally comprised of business owners from Bergen and Passaic Counties. Region events are open to members and nonmembers from across the state. For more information about this event, contact the Northeast Region Event Coordinator, Melanie Cunningham, at melanie@mcunninghamlaw.com or 917-887-9478.

Established in 1978, the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is the longest-standing, statewide organization of women business owners in New Jersey. Its primary objective is to encourage and support business ownership by women, provide a legislative voice for the interests of women-owned businesses, and offer leadership, professional development, and networking opportunities for business owners. For more information about NJAWBO, visit www.njawbo.org or email njawbo@njawbo.org.
