FAIR LAWN, NJ - The Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel (FLJC/CBI) held a Hanukkah story time at the Fair Lawn Public Library where a packed room included children ages 2 – 8, along with their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

On December 15, Kayla Seigel-Laddy (Morah Kayla) shared a variety of age-appropriate Hanukkah stories with the children while the group joined together to sing Hanukkah favorites such as “Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel,” “Sivivon Sov Sov Sov” and the traditional prayers over the Hanukkah candles. Children were treated to yummy cookies and chocolate gelt and all were given dreidels and special designed coloring books created by the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel.

The FLJC/CBI looks forward to partnering again with the Fair Lawn Library for special holiday story time events for Purim, Passover and Rosh Hashana. Those interested in learning more about the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel should contact membership@FLJC.com. Visit www.FLJC.com.
