FAIR LAWN, NJ – Two lucky tickets purchased at Morlot Food & News matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $54,294 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Saturday, March 21, drawing, according to state lottery officials.
The retailers who sold the two winning tickets, Morlot Food & News, 22-28 Morlot Ave., Fair Lawn, will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.
Each ticket is worth $27,147. The winning numbers were: 06, 11, 13, 19 and 23 and the XTRA number was: 03.
Executive Director James Carey announced that there were 186,101 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 62 ticket holders won $251 each and 11 others won $753 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 1,623 ticket holders won $10 each and 355 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 3,535 ticket holders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
There was another winning ticket sold at General Deli Grocery Store, 246 5th Ave., Paterson in Passaic County, for $441,466. Those numbers for Jersey Cash 5 jackpot were 03, 15, 18, 33, and 43 and the XTRA number was: 02, drawn on Friday, March 20.
Meanwhile, the Mega Millions Jackpot Rolls To $101 million, according to James Carey, New Jersey Lottery executive director, as nine players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500.
