GLEN ROCK, NJ - Ever meet a Rockette? Yes! A Rockette from the Christmas Spectacular at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City! They'll be in town at the Glen Rock Library for a festive arts and crafts session on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Even before rehearsals begin for the 2019 show, the ladies will be out in several communities participating in activities at local libraries with children and their families. Two of the Rockettes will visit and be available for photos, which will be instantly printed and framed inside a snow globe. The Rockettes will join local kids in decorating their snow globes to create a memorable keepsake. The visits are free and open to the public. Glen Rock is one of six lucky communities to get a visit.
The Radio City Rockettes will be in the tri-state area from Sept. 23-27 at the below listed dates and venues.
About the Rockettes
Beloved by generations of families and starring the incomparable Radio City Rockettes, the Christmas Spectacular is a one-of-a-kind tradition where the magic of Christmas in New York comes alive. The 2019 production features magnificent Rockettes dance numbers, stunning costumes, and immersive technology and visual effects. In 2018, the Christmas Spectacular introduced both a brand-new finale scene and all-new digital projections. The finale, “Christmas Lights,” begins at the conclusion of the “Living Nativity” scene, which has been performed as part of the Christmas Spectacular since its inception in 1933. The Christmas Spectacular continues to combine traditional numbers with cutting edge technology that extends the scenery beyond the stage to transport audiences from their seats right to the center of the action – from the North Pole, to Central Park, to a manger in Bethlehem. Tickets for the 2019 Christmas Spectacular are on sale now at www.rockettes.com/christmas.
