HACKENSACK, NJ – Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton held a promotional ceremony on the steps of the Superior Courthouse which elevated several officers to higher ranks, in addition to recognizing Chief Counsel Dan Zwillenberg for outstanding service.
“We give well wishes to those who have served BCSO well and have retired," Sheriff Cureton said. "I am proud to continue the exceptional leadership at Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with the promotion of our new Warden at the Bergen County Jail as well as promotions of one Lieutenant, and five Sergeants. These promotions showcase the future leaders of this great agency and their commitment to serving Bergen County with honor."
Three Sheriff’s Officers received promotions to Sergeant - S.O. Christian Zambrano, K-9 S.O. Robert Mantone, and S.O. Jason Rodriguez.
One Sheriff’s Officer Sergeant received promotions to Lieutenant - Sgt. Shaun Mathew.
One Corrections Captain received promotions to Warden - Capt. Michael Russo.
One Corrections Lieutenant received promotions to Captain - Lt. Ralph Turre.
One Corrections Sergeant received promotion to Lieutenant - Sgt. Efrain Rivera.
