FAIR LAWN, NJ - It's true, the rumor is true! Lazon Paints is back!

In a recent letter to friends and neighbors, Donald Landzettel announced Lazon Paints is back in business after a 13-year hiatus.

"WE’RE BACK… Lazon Paints is returning to the marketplace to serve painting contractors, commercial accounts and local folks with our family line of quality paints," Landzettel said in a written statement.

While there will be no retail store, they will be selling items factory-direct, with just a few painting necessary items.

The business remains on River Road in the same building that housed their retail store until 13 years ago when Ricciardi Brothers rented the space. Since that time, they have continued manufacturing paints and coatings on a private label basis for other companies. Ricciardi Paints left the location at the end of May which created the opportunity for Lazon Paints to return to the commercial market.

The factory-direct entrance is on the driveway side of the manufacturing plant, 17-12 River Road. They are offering interior paints in both flat and low-sheen finishes and exterior house paints in flat and eggshell and appropriate primers. In addition to the Lazon products, they are offering the full line of Old Village Paints and Rust Destroyer products.

Their hours are not typical retail since the hours of operation are governed by Lazon's factory schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Order by phone 201-796-3506, ext 1; email: office@landzettelandsons.com.

More to come next week when TAPinto visits the newly opened factory-direct storefront.
