RIDGEWOOD, NJ - Fair Lawn and Glen Rock's neighbor has "a small number of young people" recently testing positive for COVID-19, according to the Village manager.

"The close contacts of these individuals will be notified to allow for self-quarantine and symptom monitoring for fourteen days," Village Manager Heather Mailander said in a statement over the weekend.

Fair Lawn currently has 42 positive cases of the COVID-19 virus, according to Mayor Kurt Peluso, which is a 90% reduction from the high of 403 on April 28.

As of July 19, Glen Rock Mayor Kristine Morieko said there were 124 positive cases in her borough.

All three towns are urging people to remain vigilant, continue to follow the proper protocols of wearing masks in public and at social gatherings, practicing social distancing by staying at least 6 feet apart, and washing hands frequently.
