GLEN ROCK, NJ - The Glen Rock Community School is now organizing one-day college tours for sophomore, junior and senior Glen Rock students in coordination with College Exploration Tours.

Each college visit includes an admissions information session and college tour. Luxury transportation, lunch and dinner are included in the ticket price. A question and answer session and college admission guidance is given while in transport to the colleges by the tour leader, Paul Kaser of College Exploration Tours. Paul Kaser is a veteran in college admissions and serves as the Director of College Counseling and Career Relations at Bergen County Academies.

“Students enjoy visiting colleges with their peers. This makes it easy for parents. Students can see colleges without having to bring along their parents and siblings. If a student likes a college they can always go back and visit with family,” said Allison De Meulder, Director of Glen Rock Community School.

Fall tours consist of two colleges. However, the spring schedule is being created and schools located further away will allow for one college to be visited per tour. This allows students the opportunity to dive further into the culture of one college.

The New York University and Fordham University tour in September was a success. Upcoming tours include University of Delaware and Villanova University on October 24 and Fairfield University and Quinnipiac University on December 5.
