Glen Rock is having a very exciting election season. There are five individuals running for two council seats; and we have two mayoral candidates. Our Democratic team (Kristine, Rob and Teresa) has been personally knocking doors all over town since May! We have been able to speak with many, many residents in town. It has been important to us to hear what you have to say – and, for you to be able to ask questions of us.
But, what if you weren’t home when we knocked? What’s a voter to do?
Voters can visit our website (KnockEveryDoorInGlenRock.com) and Facebook page (Kristine Morieko, Teresa Gilbreath, & Rob Dill for Glen Rock), and see the strength of this team and how much this team brings to the table.
Another great way to learn about us is by watching Candidates’ Night. The League of Women Voters holds a Candidates’ Night whenever there is a contested election.
There are two ways you can watch Candidates’ Night. You can join us at Borough Hall in Glen Rock on Thursday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. You can also watch Candidates’ Night from the comfort of your own home by tuning into Glen Rock TV (Channel 77 Optimum/Cablevision, and Channel 32 FIOS.). Either option will give you the opportunity to see each of the candidates answer questions and express their views – live, no editing.
What better way to make an informed decision? Hear what individuals have to say, listen to how they differ.
Give yourself the tools to make an informed decision on Election Day--Tuesday, November 5. That’s why I think it’s so important to watch Candidates’ Night.
