Michelle Torpey is a candidate for the Glen Rock Borough Council. She is capable, smart and concerned about the well-being of all Glen Rock residents.

Michelle is actively involved in working with and protecting young people, and has been for many years. A mother of three children, she has served multiple terms as President of the Byrd School HSA.  Michelle established the prescription pill drug disposal box program in Glen Rock, having successfully organized an unused prescription turn-in program at the Rock Ridge Pharmacy.  In her many years as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager (she was the Pharmacy District Manager for Acme covering New York and New Jersey), Michelle understands first hand the magnitude of the prescription drug abuse problem.  She currently serves as Co-Director of Religious Education at St. Catharine’s Church.

One of Michelle’s core beliefs is that transparency is critical.  As a newly appointed Glen Rock Borough Council Member, she is - and will continue to be - a strong voice in bringing issues that affect all Glen Rock residents to the public before decisions are made.

I hope that you will join me in voting to return Michelle Torpey to the Glen Rock Borough Council on November 5.  She will represent ALL of the residents of Glen Rock.
