As a parent and gun violence survivor, I was thrilled to see that Assemblywoman Lisa Swain and Assemblyman Chris Tully received the Gun Sense Candidate distinction from Moms Demand Action. Lisa and Chris have voted for common sense legislation like red flag laws and banning untraceable ghost guns. These laws protect our communities while respecting 2nd Amendment rights.  And they get to the heart of what we should all agree on: we deserve to live without the fear of gun violence. Our children shouldn't be afraid that someone will shoot them at school. They should never get used to the sound of gunfire in their neighborhoods. I'm thankful that Lisa and Chris are standing up for our families in Trenton, and look forward to voting for them on Tuesday, Nov. 5th.
