FAIR LAWN & GLEN ROCK, NJ - Both boroughs have received state Department of Transportation funding for road projects

The state Department of Transportation (DOT) recently awarded municipal aid funding to Fair Lawn and Glen Rock, plus other towns throughout the 38th Legislative District.

Senator Joseph Lagana, Assemblywoman Lisa Swain and Assemblyman Chris Tully (D-Bergen/Passaic) said the "funding that has been awarded to towns throughout Bergen and Passaic counties will make a noticeable difference in the lives of many of our residents."

“Roads that have fallen into disrepair can damage vehicles with potholes and uneven paving, which is why much of the funding has been directed to various roadway preservation projects," they said in a joint statement. "Streets will be rehabilitated and resurfaced to help ensure more smooth and reliable rides for drivers throughout towns such as Bergenfield, Fair Lawn, Paramus and many more."
