GLEN ROCK, NJ – Glen Rock has won first place and $1,000 in the Sustainable Jersey Green Team Video Contest, according to Sustainable Jersey representatives.

New Jersey Green Teams were asked to submit videos to highlight the positive impact the Sustainable Jersey program has had on their community. Seven video semi-finalists were selected from the pool of submissions and posted on the Sustainable Jersey website for public voting. From these seven, the top three videos were determined based on the nearly 1,400 on-line votes. The three videos with the most votes were declared the winners and were shown at the Sustainable Jersey Annual Luncheon in Atlantic City for the 450 attendees. The municipalities with the winning videos received a cash prize to support green team efforts.

The videos are energizing and share a snapshot of the passion and dedication of the local leaders as they create a path forward to advance sustainability.”

Glen Rock Councilmember Arati Kreibich said, “This video highlights all the different ways our entire community, from students to seniors, came together to reduce plastic pollution.
