GLEN ROCK, NJ - Glen Rock has a new recycling app--Recycle Coach--so residents will get indepth information on what they can recycle and/or throw away.

Since recycling has become more of a science in the past several years and the laws have changed regarding recycling, the borough and its Environmental Commission and Green Team have launched the digital age tool: Recycle Coach.

This free intuitive tool helps bring recycling/garbage pickup notices into the digital age and is downloadable free and available in both the iOS Apps Store and Google Play; or it's accessible through this link: Recycle Coach

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

Residents can use it to search for specific items and find out whether they can be recycled, plus how and where they end up once recycled.

It also allows you to be instantly updated on changes to the schedule to prevent you from failing to deliver your items on time. It adjusts itself to your address and knows exactly what routes will be taken to ensure your ‘refuse’ is gathered properly.

Dr. Rabacchi, co-chair of GREC says, “Although the ultimate goal is to reduce waste in the first place, the Recycle Coach app is an excellent tool available to all of us! It is very simple to use whenever we have a question of what and how our waste gets recycled. And an added bonus is in learning what our waste can turn into.”
