FAIR LAWN, NJ - A now viral video has drawn the attention of social media stars, according to a Fair Lawn High School graduate from the class of 2019.
Bernard Moerdler, 19, is a Fair Lawn High School 2019 graduate, said he and his classmates are very disturbed about the widely reported incident on September 8 in which a "13-year-old autistic boy was being bullied by multiple high schoolers from town and one adult (a classmate of mine from our graduating year.)"
Moerdler said the kids pulled down the 13-year-old's pants and "recorded him with his genitalia out. The video was then posted to Tik Tok and Instagram where it has since gone viral."
Moerdler said "social media stars have been talking about it since and saying how awful of a crime it is."
The Class of 2019 published a statement (link) denouncing the incident.
"The High School is working with local authorities to enforce the correct course of action in this horrible incident," Moerdler said.
