GLEN ROCK, NJ - In an effort to "Remember, Honor and Teach," local volunteers will further the mission of Wreaths Across America on National Wreaths Across America Day, Dec. 8.

The borough is an an official Wreaths Across America (WAA) location, according to organizer Eileen Hillock. Joining more than 1,200 other locations across the country this month for a wreath-laying ceremony, local volunteers will gather to place wreaths at
three significant veteran memorial locations in Glen Rock.

This annual event seeks to further the WAA mission of Remember, Honor, Teach, ensuring the memory of those who served the country endures.

Volunteers and those interested will gather 1 p.m. sharp at the Veterans Memorial, 1 Harding Plaza, Saturday, Dec. 8

WWA Coordinators, Veterans and their families, Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts, Washington Elm Society, and local government officials will be in attendance.

Wreaths were donated by Glen Rock Boy Scout Troop # 27.
