PARAMUS, NJ - Police are seeking help tracking down a woman who reportedly robbed a store at Garden State Plaza using a butcher knife.

According to police, the incident occurred on May 16 at 5:49 p.m. when a woman walked into the Abercrombie & Fitch children’s store, approached an employee and whipped out a butcher knife. 

After directing the employee to a cash register, the woman forced her to remove money, fled the store and boarded a Jitney bus outside, police said. Altogether she made off with about $900, according to police.

The woman was described as white with blue eyes, between the ages of 25 and 30, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build. She was wearing a gray Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt, black short sleeve Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt and jeans.
