GLEN ROCK, NJ - Bicyclists beware, especially along Harristown Road.

Just after 2 p.m., a Glen Rock police officer was flagged down while on patrol after a female on a bicycle had been struck by the passenger side view mirror of a truck, police said, which had already left the scene. 

The woman declined medical aid, according to police. The incident occurred along Harristown Road near the intersection of Berkeley Place.

The vehicle involved is described as a black utility type vehicle commonly used for construction or landscaping, police said. The mirror broke when the woman was struck. The truck was last seen east on Harristown Road towards Ackerman Avenue.  The matter is currently under investigation.
