GLEN ROCK, NJ - The dog, who was roaming free and attacked a Glen Rock woman and her dog causing serious injuries, has been identified, police said.

As the woman and her dog walked along the PSE&G right-of-way between Hamilton Avenue and Berkeley Place on March 8, they were both "attacked by another dog which was running at large," police said.

The woman took her dog, which was seriously injured, to Oradell Animal Hospital and sought medical care for herself, as well, police said.

The biting dog has been identified and TYCO Animal Control, in cooperation with Bergen County Health Services, is investigating further and will take the appropriate enforcement action, police said.
