FAIR LAWN, NJ - Ready or not, here I come!
A new resident, who was waiting for no one, was born today on 4th Street just before police arrived.
Today, at 7:14am, Police Officers Brendan Loaiza and Luke Hintzen arrived at a residence on 4th Street to find a woman who had delivered a baby, Sgt. Brian Metzler said in a press release.
Upon arrival, officers found the 37-year-old mother holding her infant son. After assisting in cleaning the baby and suctioning the airway, mother and son were transported to Englewood Hospital by Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
The little boy will join his family, which also enjoys a sister.
