RIDGEWOOD, NJ – Reconstructionist Congregation Beth Israel (RCBI) will host the following programs that are free and open to all.
Fri., Aug. 16 – The monthly Synth Pop Shabbat service at 8:00 p.m. features prayers set to Rabbi Leiah Moser’s original synthesizer music. This will be a joint service with members of Temple Israel in the main sanctuary of the synagogue. Oneg Shabbat will immediately follow.
Tues., Aug. 20 – Join Rabbi Leiah Moser and members of RCBI for the monthly Recon Salon, an informal Q&A session to learn more about Reconstructionist Judaism. The program will be held at Land & Sea Diner, 20-12 Fair Lawn Avenue in Fair Lawn from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Dessert and coffee are compliments of RCBI. RSVP by Monday, August 19 to email@example.com.
Fri., Aug. 23 – RCBI’s monthly Dessert & Discussion, hosted in a member’s home, is an informal discussion about the week’s Torah portion, led by Rabbi Leiah Moser. Location information is made available upon registration at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please sign up by Wednesday, August 21.
RCBI is Bergen County’s only Reconstructionist congregation and is located within Temple Israel & Jewish Community Center, 475 Grove Street in Ridgewood.
