GLEN ROCK, NJ - Ellen Feuss, a senior Varsity softball player at Glen Rock High School, achieved her goal of100-hits.

Ellen has been playing softball since kindergarten. On the path to her high school career, she’s played Glen Rock little league, Glen Rock Travel, Club/tournament softball, and attended "many, many lessons, camps and clinics."

Ellen has volunteered at GRBSA pitching clinics and the Rock Softball camps throughout high school. She began her varsity career as a “starter” in her freshman year of high school and was elected captain for her senior year.

During her junior year, Ellen suffered a serious concussion during a game, missing three weeks of  play. She battled back before the end of the season, and was recognized by the Bergen Record with their “Courage Award” at the NorthJersey Media Sports Awards in June 2018.

For this reason, achieving this career-hits milestone on May 17 was extremely meaningful to her, friends said. Ellen teammates will most probably remember her 4 years as a starter on Glen Rock Varsity Softball for her integrity, all-out play and determination.
