GLEN ROCK & FAIR LAWN, NJ - The National Weather Service has issued another weather advisory--freezing rain--through 6 p.m. tonight for the area, including Glen Rock and Fair Lawn.

Glen Rock and Fair Lawn Schools had a delayed opening this morning as a result of the icy conditions. 

The Glen Rock Community School Preschool 2 & 3 Year Old Classes are canceled for the day and Pre-K Class is in session with the same delayed opening as the elementary schools.

Adult classes are canceled at the GRAC for the day. Before care was canceled, as well.

The weather warning includes western Bergen County, along with Orange and Putnam-Rockland, northern Westchester; Northern Fairfield-Northern New Haven-Northern Middlesex- Northern New London.

Additional ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch could occur in portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York, according to the National Weather Service in a report released at 9:35 a.m.

Difficult travel conditions are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
