FAIR LAWN & GLEN ROCK, NJ - Expect snow, ice and slush this weekend and while that may come as a shock, we must remember...it is January.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 10 a.m. Saturday until 1 a.m. Sunday, according to Fair Lawn Emergency Management.
Snow will start late morning on Saturday and continue through the evening hours before changing over to rain and tapering off in the early morning hours on Sunday. Total snow accumulation is expected to be 1 – 3 inches.
Temperatures will start out Saturday in the 20s and steadily increase all day, until Saturday night when temperatures will rise above freezing.
Winds will be 10-15 MPH with gusts up to 20 MPH on Saturday. Winds will increase on Sunday to 15–20 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH through Sunday evening.
