SOMERVILLE, NJ – Police are searching for a Franklin Township man charged with multiple counts of sexual assault against two minors.
Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said criminal charges have been filed against Daniel Serrano-Urbina, 57, of Somerset Street, in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.
The suspect has been charged with two counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, two counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault, and two counts of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a child, according to Robertson.
Franklin Township Police received a report on July 1 that two minor children, under the age of 13, had been sexually assaulted by the suspect within the jurisdiction of Franklin Township, according to Robertson.
An investigation was conducted by detectives from the Franklin Township Police Department and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit.
Serrano-Urbina has not been apprehended and is currently a wanted person in connection with the charges.
