To the editor:

I live on Old Croton Road and use the Bernadette Morales Park/Minebrook Park almost daily. It is a wonderfully maintained, very family-friendly park. The gazebo is frequently used for picnics and birthday parties hosted by many different groups. There are many dog lovers who respectfully share the park as well. The park is heavily used for children's sports, such as football, soccer and baseball. The fields have metals signs on the fencing that say, "Adult Play is Prohibited" and yet, almost daily, I see the fields being used by adults playing soccer or football.

It would be nice if there was some way that the parks group could monitor this unauthorized use of the fields and maintain the fields for the use of children's sports activities. Thank you
