ANNANDALE, NJ - Chabad of Hunterdon County will be holding its Eleventh Annual Auction fundraiser March 1 at the Beaver Brook Country Club. The event will boast gourmet food, a comedy show and more than 50 prize packages valued at more than $100,000.

Headlining at the event will be internationally famed comedian Steven Scott, As seen on TV and stages from Broadway to the Las Vegas Strip, Steven has worked with some of the biggest names in show business on both stage and screen where he has traveled to all 7 continents; performing theaters, comedy clubs, conventions, cruises, colleges, festivals, roasts, military bases and made numerous TV & radio appearances from Comedy Central to his recent standing-ovation performances on America’s Got Talent. Steven’s comedy has been described as a perfect mix between Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Carey.

This year the proceeds will benefit Suicide Awareness and Education as well as non-denominational educational scholarships for local families and their children.

“I think it’s important to combine charity and a good cause with a fun filled evening, top shelf entertainment, delicious food, and amazing prizes,” says Rabbi Eli Kornfeld, Director of Chabad of Hunterdon. “We have to do more in our community to bring awareness to suicide and provide more tools for education and prevention. Not only do we have one of the hottest comedians in the US performing, we have some of the largest prizes that we’ve ever offered — including a private jet getaway for six, to the Bahamas.”

Some of the other prizes include a NYC Getaway, Trip for Two to Israel, a selection of the newest Apple products such as iPhone X and Macbook Air, $1,000 Visa gift card, Roman Jewelers gift card, Bose Headphones, VIP Yankee tickets, US Open tickets, as well as golf packages and luxury jewelry. Tickets are $50 per person and include $25 worth of raffle tickets. The cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with food catered by the famed Prestige Caterers and prize selections, with a 7:30 p.m. comedy show. Winners are chosen immediately following the show.
