RARITAN TWP., NJ – Police released details and several recent arrests.
- Stephen P. Cox, 24, of Summit, was arrested around 12:16 p.m. May 17 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Cox was stopped on Route 202-31 for following too closely, police said, for which he was also charged along with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to produce a valid registration and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was released.
- Timothy P. Zimmerman, 61, of Milford, was arrested by Patrol Officer Aaron Roth around 12:15 p.m. May 19. Police said they were dispatched to Costco where store security told them Zimmerman took $231 of Frontline Flea and Tick Control. Zimmerman was charged with shoplifting and released.
- Scarlett Michalik, 18, of Levittown, Pa. and Sarah E. Kormuth, 18, of Fairless Hills, Pa., were arrested by Sgt. Robert Landolina May 22. Police said Michalik was stopped while driving on Route 202-31 near Copper Hill Road around 12:59 p.m. for failure to maintain lane and having an obstructed view. Both were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol. Michalik was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine) and given motor vehicle summonses charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane. Both were released to their parents with a pending a court date.
