FLEMINGTON, NJ – At Lone Eagle Brewing here today, crafts join the beer on tap.
It’s the second time the event has been held here. A pilot pop-up at Lone Eagle in November yielded a strong turnout, so the crafters are back, organized by Marketspace Vendor Events.
“We only accept handmade and vintage or repurposed wares because they evoke a feeling of authenticity,” said Kim Kraemer, who founded Marketspace Vendor Events with her husband Kevin. The two are crafters themselves, and they note the connection between the crafts offered by their vendors and the craft beers for which Lone Eagle is noted.
Some of today’s 16 vendors traveled from across the state to get here today. But others, such as Keri Schwalje of Flemington and Diana Carr of Raritan Township, had shorter rides.
Today’s event – which also includes food trucks – continues until 5 p.m. Lone Eagle is located at 44 Stangl Rd.
The Kraemers plan for this to be the first of three crafts and drafts events to be held at Lone Eagle this year.
