Raritan Township Committee Democratic candidates Kent Davis and John Dawson are pleased to announce the endorsements they have received from both distinguished individuals and organizations.
Among the endorsements received by the candidates, Kent Davis was recognized by the NJ Sierra Club for his leadership in environmental protection. According to John Kashwick, Political Chair of the NJ Chapter of the Sierra Club, “The passion and focus I see in Kent Davis, especially when it comes to water quality and open space will make him an outstanding addition to the Raritan Township Committee.” The cornerstone of Davis’ campaign is to fight for water quality and open space. “I am proud to be endorsed by the Hunterdon Warren Group of the Sierra Club. As a Cook College graduate and former NJDEP employee, I have always considered the Sierra Club the State's ‘environmental conscience. I look forward to working with the Sierra Club to garner support on local environmental initiatives ranging from climate change to creating contiguous green spaces.
Both Davis and Dawson received an endorsement from Congressman Tom Malinowski CD-7) who said “Their passion and commitment will be an asset to Raritan Township.”
NJ Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker (LD-16) stated “Kent Davis and John Dawson bring a fresh and important perspective to the Raritan Township Committee. Their clear focus on responsible community growth, transparency and accountability in government and protecting the environment will strengthen Raritan Township as an ideal place to work, live and raise your family.”
Assemblyman Roy Freiman (LD-16) also expressed his support. “Their backgrounds in public health and leadership development show they will provide a fresh perspective to Raritan and that is why I ask that you support Kent Davis and John Dawson for Raritan Township Committee.
