READINGTON, N.J. -  An investigation into two deaths here first reported yesterday has revealed it was a murder-suicide, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III stated today in a press release.

The incident is a result of domestic violence, he said. Readington police were dispatched to a Readington Road home on “a report of an injured woman” and found Kimberly Uvenio, 48, had died from “what appeared to be blunt force trauma,” according to Kearns.

Police used K9s that led them to a shed on the property, Kearns said, where investigators found Salvatore Uvenio, 52, who had died from apparent “self-inflicted asphyxiation.”
