DUI, Cocaine, Marijuana in Recent Township Arrests

RARITAN TWP., NJ – Police today released details on four recent arrests.  

  • Juan J. Simal, 19, of Ringoes, was arrested by Sgt. Robert Landolina around 9:10 a.m. April 12 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Simal was stopped while driving on Route 202-31 near Commerce Street for having a partially cracked taillight. Simal was also issued motor vehicle summonses charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and driving while suspended. He was released.
  • Police said a suspended registration led Patrol Officer Brett Szatkowski to stop Brittany M. Matzer, 23, of Ewing, while she was driving on Route 31 near Church Street around 7:45 a.m. April 14. She and passenger Megan Brennan, 18, Trenton, were arrested and each charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Matzer was also issued motor vehicle summonses charging her with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and driving with a suspended registration. Both were released.
  • Cpl. Christopher Vallat stopped a vehicle driven by Louis F. Graff, 31, of Philadelphia, for driving 61 mph in a 45 mph zone on Barley Sheaf Road near Old York Road around 11:22 p.m. April 14, police said. Graff was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine), possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Graff was also issued motor vehicle summonses charging him with driving under the influence, reckless driving, speeding, possession of an open container of alcohol and possession of a controlled dangerous substance  in a motor vehicle. He was released to the custody of a friend.
