RARITAN TWP., NJ – Police here released today details on a number of recent unrelated arrests.

  • Laura E. Hasselbrink, 50, of Flemington, hit a parked vehicle as she was trying to park in the ShopRite parking lot around 1:20 p.m. July 18, police said.  Patrol Officer Dustin Pflug responded to the scene and arrested Hasselbrink on a charge of driving while intoxicated. No injuries were reported.
  • After stopping a vehicle driven by Jameson T. Dunne, 25, of Hillsborough, for equipment violations around 12:12 a.m. July 20, police said Cpl. Chris Vallat arrested Dunne on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • While Cpl. Christopher Vallat was conducting a routine check of Hunterdon Central High School around 10:40 p.m. July 20, he noticed a vehicle parked on the property near the fuel pumps. After speaking with its occupants, he arrested Daniel M. Bill, Jr., 19, of Flemington and Alexander J. Molto, 19, of Stockton. They were each charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.
  • Police said that after stopping a vehicle driving at a low speed with its hazard lights flashing around 2:36 a.m. July 21, Patrol Officer Robert Schenck arrested the driver, Sonia Gonzalez Calix, 34, of Flemington. She was charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • A single vehicle accident on Route 579 around 8:15 p.m. July 21 led Cpl. Christopher Vallat to arrest the driver of the white van. Police said the van struck several mailboxes and that driver Timothy T. Glynn, 40, of Neshanic Station, was driving under the influence, for which he was charged.
  • After being stopped for having a non-working brake light around 1:07 p.m. July 22, police said Sgt. Robert Landolina arrested Nicholas E. Desouza, 26, of Stroudsburg, Pa. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A non-working brake light led Sgt. Robert Landolina to arrest Jeffrey E. Chernesky, 24, of Flemington around 3:04 p.m. July 24. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.
  • Sgt. Robert Landolina stopped a vehicle for having a view obstruction and failing to signal a turn around 1 p.m. July 31, police said, leading him to arrest Joseph E. Drost, III, 27, of Tunkhannock, Pa., and Taylor N. Brokenshire, 20, of Monroe Twp., Pa. They were each charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Francisco Luis Carranza, 34, of Flemington, was arrested by Patrol Officer Robert Schenck around 7:47 p.m. Aug. 2. Police said that Schenck was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the parking lot of PetSmart, but that the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene on foot. He was later located at his home and charged with obstructing the administration of law.
  • After checking on a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Route 202-31around 3:25 p.m. Aug. 4, Sgt. Robert Landolina arrested Marc Vicioso, 21, of Morrisville, Pa. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
