HILLSBOROUGH, NJ  - All information on this police blotter has been provided by the Hillsborough Township Police Department.

May 30 – Devdas Pawar, 31, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on South Triangle Road. He was also issued summonses charging him with failing to submit breath samples, failing to keep right and failing to exhibit documents. He was released.

June 3 – Benito Higarera-Perez, 37, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and striking a pole on Robin Road. He was issued additional summonses charging him with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report the accident, careless driving and having an unregistered vehicle. He was released.

June 5 – Astria Luboosh, 27, of Belle Mead, arrested and charged with shoplifting at the Kohls store on Route 206. Police say she concealed jewelry on her person valued at $26 and left the store without paying. She was released.

June 5 – Christopher Bryan, 35 and Heather Bachmann, 37, both of Bridgewater, arrested and charged with shoplifting from the Weis Market on Route 206. Police say Bryan concealed merchandise on his person valued at $185 and left the store without paying. He later returned the items for store credit. He then entered the store again and concealed $189.94 of merchandise on his person and left the store without paying. Bachman later returned to the store with Bryan and attempted to return those items for store credit. Bachman was processed and released pending a court appearance; Bryan was lodged in the Somerset County Jail on those charges and outstanding warrants.

June 6 – Paul Vacca, 46, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with shoplifting from the Weis Market. Police say Vacca concealed merchandise valued at $223 and left the store without paying. He was released.

June 9 – Matthew Doring, 20, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on Chamberlain Drive and River Road. He was issued additional summonses charging him with failing to stop, speeding, failing to maintain a lane and careless driving. He was released.

June 10 – Paz Mujica, 39, of Manville, was arrested and charged  with driving while intoxicated after being stopped in her vehicle on Dukes Parkway East. She was issued additional summonses charging her with failing to maintain a lane, careless driving and having an unclear license plate. She was released.

June 19 – Andrew Cheddie, 26, of Somerville, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on Route 206. He was issued additional an summons charging him with failing to keep right. He was released.

June 25 - Jayson Cardozo, 28, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Route 206. He was issued additional summonses charging him with having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and using a hand-held cell phone while driving. He was released.

June 27 - Isabella Dinardi, 19, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped in her vehicle on Hamilton Road. She was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and given motor vehicle summonses charging her with having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failing to stop. She was released.
