To the editor:
On Thursday evening, Oct. 13, someone anonymously and deliberately sent an email out to a large group of people lying about my stand on the Cust plan. I am against demolition of the Union Hotel and believe in adaptive reuse of our historical properties in the borough. I believe in embracing what makes us unique and certainly not their replacement!

The photo in the email sent was from September, 2015 - and the "thumbs up" signified the proposed branding efforts delivered by Roger Brooks.

We are all looking for transparency in our words and our deeds and this is not the correct nor the decent way to campaign. If someone wants to talk to me about my platform let's do so as adults - not hiding behind a computer trying to confuse the voters. This is a very pathetic move off the high road which it seems is not too crowded these days.

To be clear: I support waiting for a plan we can support as a community together and no demolition.
We can do better than this type of behavior.

The Psychology Behind My Vote for Peter Jacob

To the editor:

Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology comprising a five-tier model of human needs. Maslow stated that our most basic need is for physical survival, and this will be the first thing that motivates our behavior. Once that level is fulfilled the next level up is what motivates us, and so on.
