FLEMINGTON, NJ – It’s not too early to plan for the upcoming school year, and enrollment is now open for the Y After School Program for the 2019-2020 school year.
The Hunterdon County YMCA runs Before and After School Programs in 17 schools throughout Hunterdon. Through a well-rounded approach, the Y’s programs offer activities in a caring and safe environment during the important after school hours. Whether through sports, mentorship, or academic support, the Y strives to nurture every child.
The Y’s after school program focuses on nine components: 21st Century Skills, Arts, College and Career Readiness, Family and Parent Engagement, Global Learning & Inclusion, Health and Wellness, Academic Enrichment, Leadership Development, and Service Learning.
The Y is committed to supporting the social-emotional, cognitive and physical development of every child.
“The Y After School Programs are an opportunity for families to ensure their children are receiving additional support, continued learning, and a chance to participate in meaningful activities that can inspire, motivate, and help them reach their potential,” said Wendy Crocetti, who is Director of School Age Child Care at the Hunterdon County YMCA.
Financial assistance is available to those in need, to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn and grow at the Y.
