RARITAN TWP., NJ – The new IHOP restaurant here held its Grand Opening ribbon-cutting Tuesday, and there were pancakes and dignitaries all around to celebrate the event.
A stream of families enjoyed the food and festivities that will continue through IHOP’s Grand Opening Week.
The IHOP is located on Royal Road at the Hampton Inn, just off Church Street extension. It is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
During the week, all kids under 12 eat free from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The dignitaries yesterday included Hunterdon Sheriff Fred Brown, Flemington Councilwoman Kim Tilly, Raritan Township Mayor Karen Gilbert, state Sen. Christopher "Kip" Bateman, Hunterdon Freeholder Suzanne Lagay and Raritan Township Deputy Mayor Mike Mangin.
Tomorrow, WMGQ “Magic 98.3” will have its van and Prize Wheel on hand from 4 to 7 p.m. IHOP’s dining special will be $5 off purchase of $25 (Does not include tax and gratuity).
