FLEMINGTON, NJ - A Flemington man was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges, according to a release from Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J. Williams.
According to Williams, a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office's Forensic Unit and the Flemington Police Department.
Kevin Reedell, 37, was arrested and charged with first degree endangering the welfare of children for encouraging and directing a child to send him videos over the Internet where the child exposes intimate body parts, Williams said. In addition, Williams said, Reedell was charged with third degree possession of child pornography for watching videos that depict the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.
Reedell is being held in Warren County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office's Forensic Unit at 908-788-1129.
