Flemington's IHOP Restaurant is Open for Business

FLEMINGTON, NJ – The IHOP here has opened at the former Perkin’s Restaurant location on Royal Road.

The Flemington IHOP is owned by brothers Sanjay and Neal Patel of Imperio Groups. It employs about 80 local people and is the first IHOP in Hunterdon, according to a press release from the company.

The restaurant and its owners plan to celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday.

A grand opening week celebration will be held from March 28 to March 31.

The restaurant’s hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

A special ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for March 28 at 1 p.m.

“We selected Flemington because it is an active community with a vibrant business network,” said Sanjay Patel in the press release.

Imperio Groups is a multi-state real estate and development company led by the brothers. It specializes in franchised restaurants, hospitality properties, commercial real estate, education services and international/domestic business consulting.

There are those of us in Hunterdon County that are still without power almost one week past the first storm. JCP&L has repeatedly changed the time and date of restoration. The spokesman flat-out lied to you when he said all 10,000 customers in Hunterdon would have power restored by Wednesday at 10:30 p.m.
